Small Bags

Learn to create small bags using zippers. Bring a selection of fat quarters for the exterior and a lighter solid/semisolid fabric for lining. You can sew straps or, as an alternative, I use stretch hairbands. Each of my samples also use a zipper for closing. In class we will make a variety of shapes suitable for coin purses or small supplies.

Rulerwork Quilting Technique Class

Learn and practice the use and planning of ruler quilting using a basic set of quilting rulers. Originally designed for long arm quilting, the home machine quilter quickly became enamored of the curved shapes and designs possible on their projects. You can create outstanding projects by combining Walking Foot, Rulerwork and Free Motion quilting. In this class you will learn how to plan your quilting using a basic set of rulers and create a set of reference samples to inspire your future projects.
