Kaffe Fassett Workshop - Succulent Hexagons from Quilts by the Sea
In the workshop Kaffe & Brandon will teach and mentor your individual colour journey through fabric choice and placement. Everyone will follow the same process of choosing fabrics as Kaffe and Brandon do when they are designing, working on a design wall flannel. The design wall flannel is then rolled up with your quilt, to take home at the end of the day!
Workshop is suitable for the beginner (must have rotary cutting skills) and the advanced quilt maker. The only requirement is an eagerness to explore colour.
You may arrive as early as 9:00 am. Workshop begins promptly at 9:30 am.
*No sewing takes place during the workshop. No sewing machines needed.

| Instructor Bio: | Kaffe Fassett has dedicated the last 50 years of his life to the world of Knitting, Needlepoint and Patchwork, promoting these crafts through his own work and encouraging others to find their own creativity. He has produced close to 50 publications from "how to books" to colour in design, and also tours internationally giving workshops, lectures and museum exhibitions. For over a decade, Brandon Mably has been the Studio Manager of Kaffe Fassett Studio in London England, and has worked closely with Kaffe in the design, creation, and execution of knitwear, tapestry, patchwork, mosaic, and mixed media artwork. While working side by side with Kaffe, Brandon has honed his unique style of bold design and vibrant colour. |
