Pet Portrait Class

Learn how to make your own pattern from a photograph, which you will then use to make a fused art quilt of your animal or pet. You will learn techniques using a non-stick pressing sheet and Steam-a-Seam2 in making your quilt and will use art supplies and silk provided by the instructor to make realistic looking eyes on your animal. You will get a good start on your animal, but most likely will not finish your quilt in class, however; you will have an understanding of the process that will allow you to complete the quilt at home. Finishing techniques and options will be discussed in class. There is a fair amount of preparation in selecting, editing, printing, and tracing your photo that will need to be done prior to class. Please do not wait until the last minute!
