Cartonnage Notepad Cover and Book Minder
In this class you will make the following projects:
Bookminder-This is a wonderful introduction to the cartonnage process. In less than a hour you will acquire the basic skills and also have a wonderful gadget to keep your readers, writing utensil, or highlighter with your book.
Notepad-A perfect way to dress up a notepad you may keep lying about, making it a part of your décor! They make wonderful gifts as well. We will use fabric to cover chipboard and then create a folder type cover to encase the 5” x 8” mini legal pad. You will also learn a quick way to coordinate the notepad itself. A worksheet to adapt the project to any size notepad will be provided. This class includes use of all necessary supplies and tools. The kit includes pre-cut chipboard pieces and notepad.
A kit is required to make these projects for a cost of $20. Fabric for the notepad cover is not included in the kit…grab 3 fat quarters at Quilt-agious or your stash.
Instructor will supply use of tools, tape and glue.
